I have just been in contact with people in Albury and according to them there are 100s of Black Kite circling over their house next to Nail Can Hill.  They are trying to obtain photographs.  There are fires in the area which is what usually brings them in.

After enjoying a Peregrine fly over my house in Fraser at about 7:45 this morning, I was surprised when I turned around and saw a large dark raptor approaching. It flew over the top of me allowing clear views of the dark under side with a hint of lighter areas in the end of the wings and a long, forked tail – a Black Kite. It was flying north, in the direction of Hall.
