Hi Robin,

 

It is much closer to a juvenile than an immature going by the head, neck and throat feathering. If I caught this during banding operations I would record it as a “J”.

Snapped this morning on the eastern edge of Campbell Park,  a Cuckoo-shrike with (to my eye) odd throat marking/colouring.

Is it an immature? ( I think there were two others flying just ahead of it.)
