Following up on my query a few days ago, I managed to get a photo (fairly poor quality unfortunately) showing the eye condition. I've also attached a photo of a healthy eye for comparison.

Unfortunately now both the female and male birds of this pair have one eye affected and it is apparently starting to affect their general appearance - they are more ruffled, and reclusive and don't join with other healthy gang gangs in the area. I fear that they won't last too much longer like this. Worst and more concerning is that they are not the first birds I've seen - always Gang gangs, affected by this.

I shall continue to try to get a clearer photo. I expect this bird is already blind; the eye is shrivelled and sunken, but as this condition worsens any visual vestiges of the eye all but disappear and it closes over completely.

Any ideas I'd appreciate it.

Regards,
Ben
