Interesting questions considering how many I would have collected and destroyed
when I was young!
Consider guidelines:
http://www.adelaide.edu.au/ANZCCART/publications/T13_AnimalsinSchools.pdf
http://www.schools.nsw.edu.au/media/downloads/animalsinschools/species/partb_frog.pdf
And ACT Protected Native Animals:
http://www.tams.act.gov.au/parks-recreation/plants_and_animals/animal_licensing/protected_plants_and_animals/protected_native_animals
They don't appear to be protected, so it seems to be fine, but their now seem
to be some sensible guidelines about this, which is good.

Subject: Tadpoles for school
A friend wants to know if it's illegal to take some tadpoles from a pond, keep
them in a tank at a school for a few days and then return them?
