English birder friends are visiting Canberra at present and were interested to follow up on the Black Honeyeaters for which I have been forwarding the chatline messages.  They have just reported:
"Just back from a successful mid-morning visit to Jaramalee Pond.  We saw three (a male, a presumed first-year male and a female) in the area described by Julian Teh and another very obliging female a few hundred yards along the path NW of the pond."
So, many thanks to the Coggies who have reported these birds to the Chatline.
