One male Black honeyeater, seen well, 900 m. S. of Pine Island by the path to Pt Hut Xing. 12.05 p.m. Sunday 24^th Nov. Observed for c. 15 seconds before it dropped from its treetop perch into dense undergrowth. I could not find it again.

Other spp. present include: OB oriole (heard); Mistletoe bird (several heard, 1 seen); Noisy friarbird; 6-8 Black-faced cuckoo-shrikes; Rufous whistler; W-T treecreeper, Yellow-faced HE, RB finch.
