Possibly that message was slightly premature as the chick and dad are now back in the nest after a vigorous exchange of threats with the forces of evil (Pied Currawongs) which nest in the same tree.  For a brief period during the height of hostilities mum joined them, and at one point took wing to pursue the Currawong.  Fuller details of this event will be compiled as an odd-ob for CBN.
