Hi Elizabeth Don't worry - a successful breeding event of Grey Butcherbirds in Canberra is well worth reporting.I believe it is a Grey Butcherbird, http://www.birdsinbackyards.net/species/Cracticus-torquatus not a Pied. http://www.birdsinbackyards.net/species/Cracticus-nigrogularis Denis Wilson Springtime - Ya wouldn't be dead for Quids.
