Update 20 October. The previously “unadopted” sites are steadily being taken on, so not too many key areas remain. One surprising site is Campbell Park, which is usually a particularly bird-rich area and centrally located. Come on, the uncommitted birders – sign up for Campbell Park! Other options include Mt Mugga Mugga, Rob Roy NR, Stoney Ck NR, Bullen Range NR. And of course you may do additional surveys at other sites. At this stage the weather forecast is ok so hopefully we’ll have an enjoyable and successful weekend. Take care – and remember to enter your data fairly promptly, or bring the paper datasheets to the next COG meeting or mail them to COG, PO Box 301 Civic Square 2608. Or contact me to make other arrangements. Happy birding, Barbara
