I have them irregularly near or above my place which is close to the intersection of Drakeford and Sulwood Drives. But I think the frequency of this was highest in about 1987-1989. I suspect it is hard to pick a trend, especially as in this species, I strongly suspect a large component of genuine wild and some feral wilds. We really need an update to the GBS Report!

… and I had two Rainbow Lorikeets fly over the intersection of Drakeford and Sulwood Drives in Kambah at 8:45 on Monday morning, heading west. That is the first time I’ve recorded the species while in traffic in the ACT. They definitely seem to be becoming more regular, and more widespread, particularly over the past 12 months or so.
