On a Sunday morning walk from Kama NR to Coppins Crossing we saw a
Black-shouldered Kite and a Brown Falcon.
We also wondered if anyone can explain:
> A heavy cable, with a light one under it, stretched across the river quite
> high up. They came from a little muddy green shed on the south side. What is
> this?
> A substantial area from Finch Central down towards the river has been mown,
> all the blackberry patches scaped and the resulting waste removed, within a
> perimeter of stakes with yellow topped stakes. Are there construction plans
> for this area?
