NO HUNTING in National Parks

What did politicians say in response to your questions on national parks?

Thank you to everyone who sent in questions for the National Parks Association of NSW forum on national parks. This was well attended by over 100 people in the Theatrette Room at NSW Parliament House on 6 August 2013.

Your questions covered some great topic areas and one was selected for each of these topic areas. For those interested, attached is a summary of the answers to those questions from the members of the panel.

Please enjoy the photo of the panel attached. To see more, go to our facebook page:  https://www.facebook.com/NPANSW

"National Parks Association petition on hunting to be debated in State Parliament"

Read what we said in the media in the news about the cmmunity petition and related issues....

Did you see the debate on Hunting in National Parks?

A great crowd turned out to watch the debate live at NSW Parliament House on Thursday 22 August. There were three speakers from either side of the debate:

Against amateur hunting in national parks: Alex Greenwich - Member for Sydney; Carmel Tebbutt - Member for Marrickville; Jamie Parker - Member for Balmain

For recreational hunters in national parks: Katrina Hodgkinson - Member for Burrinjuck; Troy Grant - Member for Dubbo; John Williams - Member for Murray Darling

We will send you out an update on that next week and, our new petition to help seal the deal on keeping our national parks free from amateur hunters.

Thanking you

Justin McKee
Campaign Coordinator,
National Parks Association of NSW
