SE of Collector: Currawang: -34.970938,149.512398 2 Yellow-faced Honeyeaters flew overhead in the paddock 7:30am2 calling in the back garden midday. Haven't seen or heard them for around two months.
I know I'm late with a favourite bird vote, but I'd love to note the daily, free entertainment provided by the Superb Fairy Wrens, who spend a lot of their time putting us in our places - and out of theirs, it would appear, preferably. They are year round, otherwise the White-browed Scrubwren would get the vote. .
