This morning half a dozen brown gerygones busily ‘which-is-it’-ing in the leafy Lilly Pilly by the Brittle Gum Lawn.  The bird on the right was a more relaxed example on another occasion in the more accustomed haunt of Dorrigo. Why these chaps should choose June toleave the lower altitudes for wintry Canberra is just another thing we don’t know.
