I wonder if it’s the same flock I saw crossing the Cotter Rd (flying south) near the Parkway on Tuesday. I counted 12.
They may be being displaced from Dunrossel Dve, where many pines are being cleared.

A very large flock of yellow tailed black cockatoos has been flying over Duffy/Holder this morning. I counted 15 in a group in flight, three more in a tree near the oval, and three in a gum tree next door to us in Dixon Drive. The three next door included a dependent young who was being fed. They are still flying round now making wonderful calls (at 9.53).
