A pleasant morning riding around Mulligans produced a few less common birds at
the northern boundary including Red-browed Finches (2), Yellow Thornbill (2)
and White-plumed Honeyeater (1).
This is my first record of Red-brows in the reserve.
No sign of the Gilbert's Whistler Milburn reported last weekend nor Pied
Butcherbird today.
The Owlet-nightjar was sitting at the entrance to its hollow soaking up the
morning sunshine.
