Koalas could look close enough to have resulted in an equal dislike.

Cockatoos certainly get excited and aggressive to all sorts of things. Goannas are a nest predator so that makes sense. Many birds attack all kinds of predators at all times, such as raptors and snakes and things that look like snakes - I've seen birds attack a turtle that looked a bit snake like when it stuck its neck out.
