I
think as far as we know they don't move away from our area but they do call more
in spring which increases their recording rate at that time and less in cold
times of year which reduces their recording rate at that time. Bearing in mind
the way they will be observed, the difference between the graphs on the COG
Atlas & GBS report show this.
