NO HUNTING in National Parks

No Hunting in National Parks Rally: "Its a family affair!"
12:30 - 1:30pm, Thursday 18th April 2013
Outside Parliament House, Macquarie Street, SYDNEY

Start getting ready to help make this a very colourful event by preparing banners, signs and costumes for this peaceful event during the school holidays!

We're asking children to come dressed as their favourite native animal, or bring their favourite cuddly animal toy! Adults can help get signs and banners prepared that state to the NSW Government: “Don’t put my kids at risk!”

We're very pleased to announce that the Robert Debus, Former NSW Environment Minister and Attorney General will be speaking at this event along with other high profile member of the community.

Did you know?

The Premier of NSW has put a halt on the program that allows hunting in national parks until the NSW Game Council has undergone a governance review. The review is being headed by Steve Dunn.

Don't know much about Steve Dunn? Here are some media items you can read:

SMH: "Revealed: Eddie Obeid's secret diaries"

SMH: "Corrupt lawyer still on Maritime payroll"

SMH: Minister ducks on Maritime inquiry"

Thank you for your ongoing support and interest in the important campaign.

Families, national parks and flying bullets and arrows simple don't mix.
