The water level in the Big Dam on Lake Rd Bungendore seems to be dropping steadily.  I guess lack of rain will do that!

I called by for a brief stop this morning and at a glance there seemed to be fewer waterbirds that when I was last there.  Still 5 Freckled Duck, about a dozen Pink-eared Duck and 4 Australian Shovellers as well as the usual suspects.  

Without my telescope I couldn't do a decent scan for Dotterells but there were none visible or audible close to where I was parked.
