How big was it Con? Assuming it's a smallish bird I would vote for a young
Brush Cuckoo. Barring pattern on tail and vent looks consistent with that
species, and what appears to be spotting on the bit of upper wing that is
visible also fits Brush rather than Fan-tailed.
