Not having been to Mulligans for some time I thought, this morning, I’d take a stroll down to the ‘Big Dam’.  This impoundment now has the benefit of an impressive looking retaining wall, which would do credit to the once-proud, but now practically defunct, Snowy Mountains Hydro-electricity Commission.  For the benefit of overseas subscribers I offer a view of the dam as it appears today.  It now resembles a real old-fashioned Aussie bush swamp, with lots of dead gum trees to add interest and character.
