For those of you interested in bats and their incidence in the Canberra region
the Field Naturalists' meeting in a month's time (07.03.13.) will be about
bats. Speakers will include Michael Pennay from the ABS (Australasian Bats
Society), Darren LeRoux is currently researching for a PhD on tree hollows and
will relate them to bats' use.
The topic therefore will be Urban bats and also include information about Bat
Watch.
Meetings are held in the Gould wing of Building 116 at ANU, off Daley road,
beginning at 7.30pm.
