Further to the discussion of the tiny slender red worm being taken by a  crake (of which I have now seen more examples), it seems that a similar creature might be the quarry of feeding snipe (right).  The grey baggy creature on the left is something else.  Not the easiest action to photograph, because while the ‘draw up’ can be relatively gradual if the prey is long and fragile, the ‘gulp’ is rapid.  Photos Kellys this am.
