Next, the issue of the Great and the intermediate.  From hundreds of photos of each of them I could pick photos where species G would look like species I and vice versa but all that would show is that photos are not always the best way of distinguishing them.  Not all that hard if you see the 2 together,  Size difference not always as obvious as in A and C.  In C the difference in neck posture is temporary and not a guide.   In B both birds are feeding near one another showing the typical apparent difference in  shape if not in size and breast plumes of Intermediate
