Hi !
There is no way I am offering even one comment. I'm keeping right out of this one,I'm in enough trouble ! bob From: Mark Clayton <> To: 'Lia Battisson' <>; 'David McDonald (personal)' <>; 'CanberraBirds' <> Sent: Monday, 7 January 2013 8:29 PM Subject: RE: [canberrabirds] 'Citizen science can produce reliable data' Lia, We are paying enough taxes as it is. The trouble is we are spending it on totally useless things like the Afghanistan war. Look at the mess that CSIRO is in at present through lack of funding. Governments of both persuasions seem to find all sorts of useless agendas to spend our money on other than where it should be spent - for the benefit of all Australians. It is about time the people of Australia told the government what should be done with our money and not the other way around. They are after all supposed to be our representatives!! Are we prepared to pay more taxes so that more can be spent on research? -----Original Message----- From: David McDonald (personal) Sent: Monday, January 07, 2013 12:42 PM To: CanberraBirds Subject: [canberrabirds] 'Citizen science can produce reliable data' Hi I found this article on http://theconversation.edu.au that you might like: "Citizen science can produce reliable data" http://theconversation.edu.au/citizen-science-can-produce-reliable-data-1081 5 -- David McDonald 1004 Norton Road Wamboin NSW 2620 Australia T: (02) 6238 3706 M: 0416 231 890 F: (02) 9475 4274 E: m("dnmcdonald.id.au","david");" href=""> Blog: www.socialresearch.com.au/news.html **************************************************************************** *************************** This is the email announcement and discussion list of the Canberra Ornithologists Group.
