That one is a Yellow-faced Honeyeater. I wonder what bird book you are referring to, to come up with sparrow.

I am extremely inexpert at this identification thing. There are a large number of small brown birds at Uriarra and I usually assume they are sparrows –  though I am certainly wrong (often). Can anyone identify the attached?
