Hi Judy

It is a Yellow-faced Honeyeater, albeit one in an unusual location for the species.

The facial markings are diagnostic.

I assume the bird was looking for a pool of water, or possibly insects or spiders.

Cheers

I am extremely inexpert at this identification thing. There are a large number of small brown birds at Uriarra and I usually assume they are sparrows –  though I am certainly wrong (often). Can anyone identify the attached?
