I took the attached photo on the way back from enjoying the 9pm fireworks display. It is part of the entrance/foyer artwork for 10 Rudd Street and, IMHO, well worth a visit. They are somewhat easier on the eye than the that Bronto of Owls, the Belco Public Art Owl. These were the only feathered nightbirds I spotted during our New Year's Eve trek into the Heart of Civic Darkness.

On the way thither, at around 2030, I counted a flock of 28 Common Mynas which appeared to be headed for a communal roost somewhere in the vicinity of Barry Drive, Watson Street and Marcus Clarke Street.
