Hi Canberran Birders,
There is currently a breeding Noisy Friarbird pair behind FaHCSIA Building in Tuggeranong office park. The female is still incubating and the male is aggressively chasing away larger magpie.
The nesting material contains some colorful threads.
Regards,

Good morning

watched a single Friar Bird in a tree in Piper St this morning, calling from one of the top branches.

Haven't seen a Friar Bird in this part of the woods for a few years. (there was one nesting in Officer Crescent about 6 years ago.)
