As I type this email there is a Southern Boobook calling from the direction of
Mulligans Flat.

Earlier today I heard a Little Grassbird at the Forde Ponds by Horse Park Drive
and the Fairy Martins have been nesting again this year in a large pipe under
Mulligans Flat Rd.

Over the past week one or two Noisy Friarbirds regularly visit our yard,
sometimes chased off by the local Noisy Miners. A pleasant change from the
Sparrows and Starlings. A male Blackbird had taken up residence at the end of
winter but I haven't heard or seen it lately.

Cheers
Marnix
