By midday the Plumed W-Ducks had gone. In their stead a pair of
Australian Shelducks. (Perhaps? the pair reported at the Bungendore
Sewage Pond in September (16/9 Kamprad, 26/9 Gregson) - but would
the young be independent already?).
Didnt see the Lapwings.

The Banded Lapwings (13) were still near the Kings Hwy approx 500m
towards Queanbeyan from the trucking Yard Lane intersection. They
were in a recently ploughed paddock east of the road near the
bridge and the RTA report accidents LED trailer.
