The Little Bittern was still there this morning. Thanks for the hints. From the Bittern Hide it was mostly obscured by the closest row of reeds but seen well from just to the right of the hide. It is nearly 38 years since the first and last time I got to see one of these.

Still present today in the same area - some good, if distant, views of the bird in the open.
