I managed to snap a Western Gerygone at Campbell Park some time ago - unmistakably identified by its distinctive call. A couple of features that stood out were the red eye and the band across the end of the tail - though I guess this may not be common to each sex or at all stages of maturity.

Your pictures show a red eye, but the tail markings are not obvious. Maybe the only show when the tail is fanned out. Hopefully other members will be able to provide further guidance.
