There only 31 records of Scarlet Honeyeater in the COG databases (20 in General and 11 in the Garden Bird Survey). Only one of the previous sightings was of more than one bird (two in 1991). The list below shows the number of records by month (including GBS). It shows a clear peak in October and a much wider range of months than recorded by Steve Wilson in 'Birds of the ACT - Two Centruries of Change' (25 August to 25 December) and the ACT Atlas (September to December).
