7:30 am today 2 male and one female scarlet honeyeaters clearly sighted flitting amongst tagasaste blossom at my place Edendale, Currawang. Lots of action surrounding them - assumed to be others. Went to get camera after watching them for a short while, now gone from that planting.  A neighbour approx 8 - 900m across open paddock described them (accurately) as being in her native shrubbery for the last week and a half. I guess I was a little sceptical until just now.
