I have looked at the images I took at the Airport yesterday and they are really bad.   The attached is possibly of interest since this posture of the birds is described (with illustration)  in HANZAB as a distraction display.  The text in that tome implies that it may be used when young are not present but It may be that both species of lapwing are breeding with <100m between nest sites.
