Walking to work this morning in Civic, my wife spotted a dead bird which turned out to be an Australian Owlet-nightjar.  It seemed to be in a reasonable condition if anyone would like to collect it - we saw it just after 8am.

It is in an unusual location: the carpark between Rydges Lakeside and City Hill.  It is lying beneath one of the standalone trees one row in from the traffic lights at the corner of London Circuit and Edinburgh Avenue.

Regards,
