Earlier this afternoon I had a couple of Double-barred Finches and a female Scarlet Robin in the garden here in Florey -- birds I don't recall ever seeing here previously. Presumably just passing through -- a small suburban park is hardly their normal habitat.
Actually, my wife just now (5 pm) pointed out that the Scarlet Robin is still out there, so perhaps "sauntering through" might be a better description.
