Dear Canberra Birdos,
I have no picture nor physical description of this bird, just its voice. I've heard it several times at different times of the day. It does not disintegrate into blackbird/white-browed scrubwren/fairy wren voices which is a local starling's idea of fun. At dusk it is very clear and for all I looked all over, it was amongst shrubbery and could not be found. As BIB site has been down for the past couple of days and there is no MP3 on COG's website, I just have no idea.
The voice is one note higher than 5 following notes, a pause, then repeated.
Any ideas?
From Currawang, seemingly closer to the Collector Windfarm than we thought,
Jude.
