Today (1. August) on the western side of Lake George from the highway between the two VC rest areas on the lakeside (K. Wheatley and P. Badcoe): a pair of Banded Lapwings halfway to the water; and at the edge of the water ca. 150 Black-winged Stilts (telescope distance). And another Shining Bronze Cuckoo calling from the escarpment.
