A pair of Spotted Doves have recently turned up around my place in Giralang. A morning call I can do without. Home now sounds like every just about every other urban area in Australia. Is there an effective way of getting rid of them?

We now seem to have a resident Spotted Dove in Pickles Street.  Now constantly calling.  Nice call, very dovish.

A Spotted Dove inside the fenced area of Mulligans Flat today is the first I have seen in the reserve. While nothing else unusual, there was a lot of activity near the new toilet block including Varied Sitellas, Speckled Warblers and a pair of Yellow-rumped Thornbills lining the inside of their nest.
