On checking a few things and reviewing photographs I now realise it was not the "resident Spotted Harrier" but a Swamp Harrier. That is the first we have recorded in the area in five and a half years. The COG Atlas entry will be revised. Martin

Driving to the marsh we came across at least 12 Flame Robins of which only 3 were breeding plumage males. |
