A walk in the ANBG today was surprisingly productive given the
uninviting weather. Even before crossing the road from the ANU side I
found a female Rose Robin near the parking station. Then another just
inside the ANBG entrance in the Tasmanian Section.
Half way up the Rainforest Gully a noisy MFF included 4 Brown
Gerygones. For once, there was nobody about thanks to the weather and I
was able to surprise a brown plumaged Pink Robin at the uppermost bridge
accross the Gully. It flew into the thick understorey on the southern
side in Section 62 and then disappeared.
