I  walked along the adjacent lake path about the same time. Saw only about 6 YTBCs but a flock of at least 10 King Parrots and many Satin Bowerbirds around the Galley Restaurant.
Cheers,
Bruce

I wandered around Westbourne Woods for 4 or so hours from 9am today and encountered absolutely NO Gang-Gangs. I had been seeing them there while playing golf in May so was quite surprised by their lack of appearance today. While walking down the fairway across the end of Warrina Inlet I counted 53 Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos flying in groups from the direction of Yarramundi Reach to accross the GG's property. My golf would be better if I spent less time counting birds - mind you!  And there was a Grey Butcherbird hanging out in this area as well.
