Westbourne Woods this morning

There were many groups of King Parrots right throughout the Woods today as well, mainly ground feeding. I didn't see or hear any Bowerbirds - I think they hang around the cafe/nursery area which is out of range from the golf course.

I wandered around Westbourne Woods for 4 or so hours from 9am today and encountered absolutely NO Gang-Gangs. I had been seeing them there while playing golf in May so was quite surprised by their lack of appearance today. While walking down the fairway across the end of Warrina Inlet I counted 53 Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos flying in groups from the direction of Yarramundi Reach to accross the GG's property. My golf would be better if I spent less time counting birds - mind you!  And there was a Grey Butcherbird hanging out in this area as well.
