I also spotted a single Eastern Spinebill flitting through the tiny correa (Canberra Bells) i only just planted, a couple of days ago. Nothing much for it to eat yet, so i guess it flew on to greener pastures.

Subject: [canberrabirds] Patience hath its reward

About three years ago I planted a Correa and more recently a couple of ground cover Grevilleas in my back yard.  They have just a few blossoms on them now, nothing much.  But this morning I saw a pair of eastern spinebills feeding on these few flowers and making the most of them.  I couldn’t have been happier.
