A friend from work lives near a patch of urban bushland in Farrer. The area hosts various native birds and at the moment large numbers of Aus Ibises use some living and dead trees on this block for roosting.

He is concerned that ACT Parks and Wildlife intend to tidy the area up and remove the dead trees. Already one visit by contractors has destroyed a Bowerbird's bower.

He wants to know if there is there any way of getting this spot's status as a refuge for birds in its 'unimproved' state recognised and the contractors held off?
