At the end of a short walk at The Pinnacle this morning I was surprised to hear and then see a WBCS. It was a nicely-marked dark morph bird and was foraging in a massive old Yellow Box (with a broken nest box attached to its trunk) next to the small parking area at the end of Dungowan St, Hawker. In the reserve there were plenty of small birds in mixed flocks including 2 Southern Whitefaces along the southern boundary.

Cheers

Steve
