On Sat 26 May while doing a rekkie for the COG bus trip yesterday, I recorded at least 2 of the honeyeaters, in a flowering eucalypt very close to Tom's seat (sections 9 & 30); also a male Rose Robin nearby in the callistemon shrubs.  The COG group yesterday (Sunday) saw 6 Fuscous Honeyeaters in a eucalypt at the top of the eucalypt lawn near the toilets, before they flew uphill.  The birds are not calling, except for occasional, quiet contact calls.  We also saw Yellow-faced and White naped Honeyeaters in the area from Tom's seat, north along the gardens fence with CSIRO.
cheers
Jenny
